Store Opening Hours:
In February and March: Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Starting from March 29th: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. In the months of May to September, the store is also open on Mondays from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Store Phone Number: 033-4654636 (only available during opening hours). In our store, you can purchase tickets or rent an entire boat. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded. Train tickets are purchased from the conductor.”
Our Tour
Keijlijn offers a tourist tour through the historic city center of Amersfoort. A complete round trip takes about 1 hour. Would you rather step out in between? That’s possible too, you can use our Hop on – Hop off service all day with the same ticket, getting on and off anywhere along the route.
During the tour, the guide/storyteller will inform you about the past and present of the city. Keijlijn is a volunteer organization run by approximately 23 women and men (aged 55+). The 2024 season runs from March 29th to October 31st.”
Reservations
The train can also be reserved for groups such as corporate events, weddings, and parties, as well as by schools for educational tours of the city. This can be arranged during the day outside of regular operating hours, as well as in the evenings until 11:00 PM.
Keijlijn has a permit to operate in the old city center with the exception of certain main roads. The cost is €180.00 per hour, inclusive of the conductor and driver. The maximum number of persons per trip is 36.
